ECOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS

Detailed ecological & biological assessments including the evaluation of listed/protected species (flora and fauna), vegetative monitoring, evaluation of existing site conditions (soils, vegetation, hydrology, topography, etc.), wetlands, wetland mitigation, cultural resources, and identification of permitting requirements.

 

OUR SERVICES

ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS

Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports conducted by a Licensed Environmental Professional (to conduct All Appropriate Inquiry into the previous ownership and uses of a property to satisfy one of the requirements to qualify for the innocent land owners defense to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980 - ASTM E 1527-05/AAI format), Phase II ESAs (to include soil and/or groundwater sampling and analysis), and Transaction Screening Process Reports.

 

WETLAND SERVICES

Wetland jurisdictional determinations and assessments, normal pool and seasonal high water table elevation determinations, Unified Mitigation Assessment Method (UMAM) analysis, wetlands mapping, wetland restoration, and wetland mitigation and monitoring.

 

PERMITTING

Federal, state and local permitting including Environmental Resource Permits (ERPs), ACOE Section 404 permits, USFWS Section 7 consultation, Threatened and Endangered (T&E) protected species permitting, wetlands permitting, Sovereign Submerged Lands (SSL) determinations, residential and boat dock permitting, etc.

 

DUE DILIGENCE

Thorough analysis of property (pre-purchase through construction) including environmental and ecological studies, feasibility studies, preliminary desktop site analysis, listed/protected species studies (flora and fauna), ecological/biological assessments, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, wetlands determinations and wetlands permitting, identification of permitting requirements, water quality studies, and wetland mitigation and monitoring.

 

WATER QUALITY STUDIES

Remote water level and water quality monitoring (telemetry, modem and satellite), data logger installation and monitoring, long-term drought monitoring, golf course & mine water management, weather station and rain gauge installation and monitoring, water quality sampling and analysis, and SCUBA diving, and underwater sampling and analysis.
